ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Country ham sandwiches, beef BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, chili dogs, and eight different flavors of home-made ice cream are served from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Saumsville Christian Church the third Saturday in August. This event serves as both a fundraiser and a back-to-school get-together for CCS families, friends, and community supporters.

SHENANDOAH COUNTY FAIR PARKING

CCS joins with local community churches in supplying adult volunteers to park cars each night at the Shenandoah County Fair. The Fair Association pays CCS for the adult workers.

BOOK FAIR

Books and related materials for purchase are on display for one school week at CCS. Students visit the Book Fair with their teachers during class time and make “Wish Lists” that they then take home and share with parents. Book Fair hours will be sent home in advance so parents may plan to attend when it is convenient for them. Parents are encouraged to visit the Book Fair and purchase items for their families. Students may bring in money and purchase books during classroom visits as well. CCS does benefit from each purchase made during the Book Fair.

FALL T-SHIRT SALE

CCS families are encouraged to show their support of CCS by purchasing a CCS T-shirt, polo shirt, or sweatshirt. An order form including available designs, sizes, prices, and sale dates is sent home with each student at the beginning of the sale.

LONGABERGER BASKET BINGO

This fundraiser features Longaberger baskets as prizes for winning games of bingo. Food and drinks are served while the games are in session. Door prizes are also given. Anyone can purchase a ticket and attend.

BENEFIT DINNER AND AUCTION

A catered dinner and silent, live auctions hi-light this winter evening fundraiser. CCS family, friends, and community supporters are invited to attend to contribute financially to CCS as well as enjoy an evening of good fun and fellowship.

SPRING T-SHIRT SALE

CCS families are encouraged to show their support of CCS by purchasing a CCS T-shirt, polo shirt, or sweatshirt. An order form including available designs, sizes, prices, and sale dates is sent home with each student at the beginning of the sale.

SPRING CONCERT/PRAISE NIGHT

CCS students and local community supporters perform musical selections in a worship-style presentation. A freewill offering is collected that will benefit CCS. Light refreshments are often served after the program to allow a time of fellowship among performers and the audience.

SKATE-A-THON

CCS students, church youth groups, and other interested children are invited to participate in this new fundraiser held at Stoney Creek Roller Rink and Fun Center in Woodstock.

SUMMER YARDSALE

CCS families and friends donate any items that they no longer have use for to a Saturday morning yard sale held on the school parking lot.
