Tuition & Fees
Tuition

The 2006-2007 tuition rates are $3,250.00 for the first child, $2,500.00 for the second and third children, and $1,750 for each additional child in the same family. Monthly payments are due by the first of each month, beginning August 1. Monthly payments received on the eleventh of the month or later are considered late and will have a late fee assessed (see Late Fees, below). A coupon book will be provided to facilitate tuition accounting for both parents and for school financial officers.

Three tuition payment plan options are available to parents. Parents designate their chosen option on their completed Family Application for Admission. Coupon books reflect the parents’ choice. The options are as follows:

Option 1: 12-Month Plan

First Child $270.84/month Due August 1 through July 1

Second/Third Child $208.34/month

Fourth + Child $145.84/month

Option 2: 10-Month Plan

First Child $325.00/month Due August 1 through May 1

Second/Third Child $250.00/month

Fourth + Child $175.00/month

Option 3: Full Payment

First Child $3,250 Due August 1

Second/Third Child $2,500

Fourth + Child $1,750

A deposit of one month’s tuition for each child accepted for enrollment will be due by August 1. This deposit is non-refundable, but will be credited as the first month’s tuition. Therefore, the second tuition payment will be due September 1.

The Board and Administration firmly believe that each family should consider their financial responsibilities to CCS as of the utmost importance. Parents that are unable to make a tuition payment on time are requested to notify the Administrator. If a special situation has arisen within the family that prevents payment from being made on time and the Administrator is notified, the Board may be able to offer a special payment plan to the family while the situation is resolved. A tuition account that is two months in arrears may result in the dismissal of the student(s) from CCS until the account is made current. All accounts with CCS must be current in order to receive quarterly and final grades.

Late Enrollment: After the school year has begun

If a student is enrolled after the school year has begun, tuition will be prorated to reflect the balance of the tuition account according to the actual number of months enrolled. Partial attendance during any month of school constitutes payment for the entire month. Therefore, if a student enters CCS mid-month, full tuition for that month is expected.

Withdrawal: Before the school year has ended

In the event that a student is withdrawn from CCS for any reason during the school year, tuition will be pro-rated to reflect the balance of the tuition account according to the actual number of months enrolled. Partial attendance during any month of school constitutes payment for the entire month. Therefore, if a student leaves mid-month, no part of tuition for that month is refundable. All withdrawals must be made in writing and will be effective beginning the date of receipt in the school office. No deductions or refunds will be made for tuition due to student absences for any reason during the school year.

Registration Fees

Registration fees demonstrate parents’ desire to have their child attend CCS. These fees reserve a classroom position for the student and allow the Board and Administration to plan for the upcoming school year. Registration fees are non-refundable.

New Student $150.00 Due with application for admission

Returning Students $100.00 Due with application for admission

Activity Fees

The Activity Fee would include books, Kindergarten Cap and Gown, middle school grades’ gym outfits, field trips, classroom supplies, copy paper, paper products, etc.

All Students $125.00 Due on or before August 1

Late Tuition Payment Fees

A $15.00 late fee will be assessed on each student tuition payment received on the 11 th of the month or later; therefore, if one family is paying for two or more students and the tuition payments for two or more students are late, a $15.00 late fee will be assessed for each student tuition that is late and not just one late fee for the family. These fees are non-refundable.

Late Student Pick-up Fees

A $15.00 per day late pick-up fee will be assessed to any family that picks their student up after the scheduled dismissal and pick-up time. Students are dismissed at 3:05 p.m. Parents are expected to have their students picked up from CCS Staff by 3:25 p.m. In the event of a true emergency, parents are highly encouraged to notify the CCS Office so that suitable arrangements can be made in a timely manner. These fees are non-refundable.
