Chapel
The Chapel Activity is the highlight of the week at Community Christian School. CCS takes this opportunity to praise, honor, and glorify our mighty God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our Wednesday morning tribute starts with Praise music sung by our children, is followed by a time of Prayer and Thanksgiving, and concludes with a special Presentation that reflects our mission, our faith, and our educational philosophy. Presentations are led by our Administrator, Academic Dean, our Teachers, and selected guest Presenters.
Each Wednesday is Chapel Day and students are expected to dress up to acknowledge these special days. Girls are to wear dresses or skirts of an appropriate length. If the outside temperature is below 35 degrees, girls will be permitted to wear dress slacks and a nice blouse or sweater. Boys are to wear a collared shirt, tucked in, and belted casual dress pants. Boys in Kindergarten through Grade 2 do NOT need to wear a belt. Jeans and shorts are not acceptable attire for Wednesdays.
