School Board of Directors
The Board of Directors

Governmental oversight of Community Christian School is vested in a Board of Directors. In addition to the Board Members, the Administrator of the School and the Chair of the Parent-Staff Fellowship serve as members of the Board of Directors. The Board develops broad operating policies and procedures through a Policies and Procedures Committee, oversees the raising of funds for operating the school and for improving its programs and facilities through a Finance Committee, ensures operation and maintenance of current and future buildings and grounds through a Building and Grounds Committee, and actively seeks funding and community support through the efforts of a Community Awareness Committee. Each of these Committees are chaired by a current Board Member and staffed with parent volunteers and/or community supporters. Board members and Board Committee members assist and support the Administrator as much as possible in fulfilling the many facets of that position at CCS.

Board membership is by invitation only and final approval is based on testimony, lifestyle, and witness of the Christian faith. Members serve a one-year term that may or may not be further extended. Early resignation from a term may be approved due to family, employment, health, etc. reasons.

Regular monthly Board meetings are held year-round, typically on the first Monday of each month. Specially called meetings may be held as needed. Anyone interested in attending a Board meeting should contact the Administrator to reserve a time slot on the meeting agenda.
